Since that is not closed, I can smoke in a station platform?
The law says that banning smoking on the premises public who are "almost closed". My soking local railway has imposed a ban on all parts of the railway (including platforms or are open to the elements). Can they? The problem is legal. If the railway company "bans" smoking in their platforms and smoke - in which the law can sue me?
No matter what they do or not do - it has nothing to do with them. Platforms of railway stations iron is defined as a place of work under recent legislation where smoking is prohibited. Regardless of where the railway does not want the ban smoking on their platforms, plus it does not matter if the bar owner does not prohibit smoking in their bar or manager of the company wants to allow smoking in their offices. It is a legal question, as they are concerned. They have the power to "ban" or "allow" smoking. It is your choice. It will continue and the nature of the law banning smoking is not relevant to them. If Smoking permitted on the platform that is seeking a fine of £ 2500 per violation - and fined by a quick 50 pounds to push his luck.
