The function of the human arm is to allow placement of the hand positions to use the hand can operate in which the eyes can see. Because of the large variety of positions needed shoulder is very flexible with a wide range of movements, but this comes at the expense of some strength and small stability considerably reduced. Treatment and rehabilitation of the shoulder is a fundamental technique of physiotherapy.

That tears progress can be massive, cutting the cuff muscle strength of the humeral head and function is very small. Rotator cuff strengthening work is carried out by physiotherapists and if the tears are serious focus on the anterior deltoid force to improve the functional capacity in the absence of power cuff. Surgeons can repair many rotator cuff shoulder physiotherapy and rehabilitation patients after shoulder protocols.
