Japanese pottery?
My grandmother gave me a set of tea cups (4 small 2 large) that my grandfather bought Okinawa 30 years ago. I am an American of Japanese descent, Sansei. They sound like Soma cups. Soma made in Japan. I Soma cups and teapots. They may have a horse in the logo sheet gold on them. Teapots are expensive.The over $ 100. The golden horse is for trademark protection because there are fakes on the market. If the cuts are not the mark of a horse, do not worry.
