What shoes should I travel in South America?

I am traveling in Colombia. I'm not going to pack or something, but I guess I walk a lot. What shoes should I wear? I think buying some failures Teva cap (the style of women olowahu), but I wonder if anyone has already had experience with this sort of thing. Thank you!

I recommend tėvas or other durable sandal. You want the background sports but for the feet, except in cases where wet, and then keep you feeling fresh. So I travel with a pair of sandals for the beach and swimming, and shoes Tennis just in case I am I on a cold, or really buggy area. It could also be a good idea if taking Bug Spray wear sandals so your feet do not receive no super bug bite.
